20 - Day Fatima, Spain and Lourdes,Rome

and Medjugorge

Day 1 Los Angeles - Lisbon
On board the flight to Lisbon, Portugal.

Day 2 - Lisbon - Fatima
Arrive Lisbon. Meet up with your Priest, tour guide and fellow pilgrims. Proceed through Lisbon to Fatima with stop at St.Anthony’s Church. After settling into your hotel, relax or join the candlelight procession (evenings April - October).

Day 3 - Fatima
Touring Fatima, see the Little Chapel of the Apparitions Basilica, the site of Francesco and Jacinta’s graves, the Hamlet of Aljustrel, where the children lived, and Valinhos, the site of Our Lady’s appearance after the children’s return from prison. Follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Sacra (The Sacred Way) culminating in the Chapel of Calvary, which overlooks all of Fatima. Join pilgrims from around the world in an evening candlelight procession to pray the rosary. Dinner and overnight in Fatima.

Day 4 - Excursion to Santarem
After breakfast, leave for one of the oldest cities in the world, Santarem. Walk through narrow streets to St Stephen Church where the oldest recorded Miracle Eucharistic can be found since 1269. Return to Fatima for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Fatima - Alba de Tormes - Salamanca
After breakfast depart for Salamanca and stop in Alba de Tormes, where St.Teresa of Avila is buried. Dinner and overnight in Salaman

Day 6 - Salamanca - Avila - Burgos
After breakfast, leave for Avila. Where St. Teresa of Jesus, is the city’s patron saint. Visit: the Cathedral, The crypt of the Convento of La Santa, and La Encarnacion Convent, the first convent she found. Then to Burgos, the historic capital of Old Castile.

Day 7 - Burgos - Loyola - Lourdes
After breakfast drive for Lourdes, France. En route stop in Loyola, the birthplace of St Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuits. Then, drive through the Pyrenees Mountains into Lourdes, the birthplace of St Bernadette. Dinner followed by a candlelight procession at the Grotto. Overnight.

Day 8 & 9 - Lourdes
In these two days, you will visit the Grotto and touring the sites of Lourdes. Walk in the footsteps of St Bernadette the Basilica of St Pius X, the Boly Mill (Bernadette birthplace), the “Cachot,” an abandoned prison where Bernadette lived during the apparition. Join your fellow pilgrims to pray for the sick, drink water from the miraculous spring, submerge in the healing baths, walk the life-sized Stations of the Cross and participate in nightly candlelight processions (April-October). Breakfast and dinner served at hotel daily.

Day 10 - Lourdes - Rome
Fly to Rome. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel and the rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 11 - Rome
After breakfast, We’ll take you to Vatican City and join the weekly Papal Audience (subject to papal schedule). Later visit the Vatican Museums including Sistine Chapel, St Peter’s Basilica and gravesite of Pope John Paul II (if time permit).

Day 12 - Rome
Today we’ll take you for “Christian Rome” sight including the Basilica of St. Mary Major, the Holy Stairs, the Basilica of St. John the Lateran, St Paul Outside the Walls, the Appian Way, the famous Domino Quo Vadis Chapel, the ancient Baths of Caracalla, Arch of Drusus, Tomb of Celilia Metella, St Callixtus catacombs, of where the early Christians. Dinner and overnight.

Day 13- Rome - Medjugorje
Afternoon flight to Medjugorje. Upon arrival, drive to the village of Medjugorje (aprox. 2,5 hrs) to meet up with a local spiritual leader and your host family whom you will be staying for the next seven nights.

Days 14 to 19 - Medjugorje
Your visit to Medjugorje is designed as your personal retreat. This is your time to pray, reflect, and explore yourself to the call. Our local representative will be available should you have any questions or concerns. Please note there will be no tour in this visit. Daily Mass and confessions in English are available at St. James Church.

Day 20 - Medjugorje - Los Angeles
After an early breakfast and heartfelt farewells, we leave for Dubrovnik Airport (Spilt or Sarajevo) for flight home
